Growing the Pasture
Rebecca has jumped into gardening with both feet, turning one of our rooms into a crop-starting area where she can grow seedlings before transplanting them outside. She’s also working on setting up a 10x20 greenhouse to expand her growing space and keep things thriving year-round. We’re also looking forward to building a chicken coop so we can have fresh eggs right from our own backyard.
Although we haven’t started yet, we have plans to get electricity set up in the 30x40 shop, which will become our main production space for Bleat’n Suds. Alongside that, we’re planning to renovate the barn and eventually bring in goats to provide milk for our soaps.
Of course, the property wouldn’t be complete without our furry companions. Ike and Patton, our two dogs, love running in the field whenever they get the chance. Meanwhile, Tokyo and Moosestache, our house cats, are a bit too pampered to brave the great outdoors, so they enjoy the fresh air safely from their catio. Elsa, our barn cat, is starting to warm up to the whole crew. She’s got her own heated outdoor cat house on the deck, where she keeps an eye on everyone.
Bleat’n Suds is more than just a soap-making endeavor—it’s about turning this little piece of land into something special, one project at a time. We’re excited for what’s ahead and grateful for the chance to share a bit of our pasture with you. Alongside our soaps, we’re crafting beard oils to bring a rugged touch to the everyday routine.

Moosestache
Moosey is our little Fatty for sure. Coming in at 22lbs, he far outweighs his biological brother, Tokyo by 9lbs. They came from the same litter... Moose enjoys spending his days sleeping on top of the Crate and chairs, and spends a great deal of time out in the Catio on the deck. One of his favorite activities is walking around the house and howl meowing.
Elsa
Our sweet Elsa is the addition to the house we did not know we were receiving. We saw her on the property when we were looking, but we did not realize that she comes with the house. But we love her, and wouldn't have it any other way! She is slowly and surely getting used to the other animals, but is not a fan of coming inside as of now.
